Missouri datacenter infrastructure
Missouri hosts 12 documented datacenter projects representing $114.8B in disclosed investment and 2.1 GW of power capacity. The state has emerged as a hub for AI/ML infrastructure, attracting hyperscaler investment. Multiple hyperscale operators have established presence in the state.
Correction (August 2026). Seven Kansas City metro projects previously filed under Kansas have been reassigned here, where their counties (Clay, Platte, Jackson) place them. Three were already present in Missouri’s records and have been deduplicated rather than added twice.
This includes the $100B Project Kestrel (Platte County) and Project Mica / Google AI Campus (Clay County). Missouri’s disclosed investment rises from $3.8B to roughly $114.8B as a result — a reassignment, not new construction.
