NATO Cyber Defence Pledge
Warsaw, Poland – 8–9 July 2016
Allied leaders endorsed the Cyber Defence Pledge to strengthen national cyber resilience, improve information sharing and incident response, develop skills and workforce, and integrate cyber considerations across planning and operations.
Key Elements
- Build robust national cyber defences and resilience of critical infrastructure.
- Share best practices and enhance cooperation, training, and exercises.
- Integrate cyber across NATO defence planning; reaffirm that severe cyber attacks could trigger Article 5.
