i've been open-sourcing software and infosec stuff since not long after Y2K. below is an index of things that have survived.

mysqlfuck.c & CVE-2002-1809 : mysql default configuration in 2002 was hilarious.

bluebus.be : umich bus tracker run out of a dorm room server on the original google maps
pystats : a python stats library built on numarray in the days before numpy and scipy.stats
PHP JAMA : a php 4.x port of the Java Matrix (JAMA) package for people who thought PHP was a good way to calculate eigenvectors or LU decompositions
db-xml : a php 3.x/4.x library for serialization and deserialization between mysql/postgres and xml.
phpDesktop : a web-based personal organization suite (think google calendar/trello but 2004)
