  • OpenEDGAR : platform for data products/analytics on EDGAR data
  • LexNLP : "old school" nlp for legal docs

c. 2000-2005

  • bluebus.be : umich bus tracker run out of a dorm room server on the original google maps
  • pystats : a python stats library built on numarray in the days before numpy and scipy.stats
  • PHP JAMA : a php 4.x port of the Java Matrix (JAMA) package for people who thought PHP was a good way to calculate eigenvectors or LU decompositions
  • db-xml : a php 3.x/4.x library for serialization and deserialization between mysql/postgres and xml.
  • phpDesktop : a web-based personal organization suite (think google calendar/trello but 2004)
